In this academic year 2025/2026 the M.Sc. in Statistical Methods and Applications organizes pre-courses during the week two weeks before the official start of the first semester (11 15-19 September 2025).
All first-year students are strongly recommended to attend the lectures in person according to the schedule below. This first week of classes will allow students coming from different academic backgrounds to share some fundamental knowledge of probability concepts, statistical analysis and programming skills. Moreover, there will be few interesting lectures on quantitative economics and official statistics.

IMPORTANT - change of schedule: on Friday 19 September the online lecture "Introduction to Official Statistics" (prof. Roberta Varriale) will start at 10:00.

In order to attend profitably the unit on "Applied EDA and inference" with prof. Zarei it is highly recommended to bring your own laptop in the lecture room Aula 14 (where an electric plug is availbale in any seat).
