Course description:
The course provides students with basic tools of micro- and macro-economic analysis and, by applying them, a preliminary understanding of the behaviour of households, firms and government. Main topics include: the theory of consumer choice, firms in competitive markets, the circular-flow diagram and the multiplier effect, equilibrium in the goods and money markets through the IS-LM curve.
